Patella Xtec Plus

The JuzoPro Patella Xtec Plus assists treatment of the patellofemoral pain syndrome. The horse shoe shaped pad aids centring the patella with a closure mechanism, with an additional pad to relieve the patellar tendon and reduce pain due to its 'nubs' (whilst also stimulating the inner thigh muscle; m. vastus medialis).

JuzoPro Patella Xtec Plus counteracts swelling due to its compression class 2 knit, with the additional benefit or removable elements of the orthoses (on consultation with doctor).

Centring pad

• Targeted stimulation nubs
• Small nubs exerting a massage effect on the tuberosity of the tibia (tuberositas tibiae)
• Larger, raised nubs with a massage and stimulating effect on the infrapatellar fat pad (Hoffa’s fat pad)
• Skin-friendly pad coating
• Positioning using micro touch fastener
• Micro touch fastener prevents sticking to clothing

Asymmetric guidance pad

• To guide and correct the patella with stimulating nubs
• Lateral massage elements to reduce muscle tension (detonisation)
• Medial stimulation elements to activate the muscles (toning)
