Measuring and Fitting Appointments

Measuring and fitting appointments are available upon clinical referral under the following conditions:

Please phone 0508 443 5347 in advance to book an appointment.

Clients with any respiratory, Covid or flu like symptoms should not enter the building.

Our staff continue to have masks available.

A support person is allowed into the appointment.

There will be a minimum 30-minute gap between fitting appointments and all surfaces will be hygienically wiped down prior to and after each appointment.

Fitting Service

To ensure our customers receive the correct garments we offer a fitting service, by appointment, Monday-Friday 9am-4pm at 32D Poland Road, Glenfield. (If you require our services outside the Auckland area, please contact us for further information). We carry the largest range of off-the-shelf styles, sizes, classes of compression, fabric qualities and colours in New Zealand. With such variety it is important that our customers have the right garment to suit their needs, and all the information needed to wear and care for their garment(s) correctly.

During appointments clients are measured by appropriately trained staff and advised on the wearing and care of garments. Clients are shown how to don, doff and care for their compression garments or wraps to ensure garment longevity and preservation. There is a fitting charge of $15.00 incl. GST, over and above any purchase. The charge will be applied whether or not a purchase is made and will be applied to all fitting appointments/referrals.

A signed Doctor’s prescription or Clinical recommendation is required for Class 2 (23-32mmHg) or stronger compression garment(s).

Custom Made Garments

Our trained staff can measure for custom made garments for venous and lymphatic conditions. We do require a Medical Professional referral to ensure we can provide the best solution for individual needs. If you do not currently have a lymphoedema therapist or are not based in Auckland, please do not hesitate to ask our friendly staff who may be able to assist with information about your nearest Therapist or relevant Medical Professional.

Phone and Email Service

We are committed to quality customer service at Toomac so being available to answer customer queries is important to us. Clients can contact us Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm by Freephone 0508 443 534 to arrange appointments, discuss product queries and order repeat garments, or through our contact us page.

Delivery of goods

We carry a wide range of garments in our warehouse and can provide overnight delivery throughout the North Island and 2 day delivery to the South Island. Rural deliveries take an additional 2-3 days depending on your local couriers run.

If we need to order your product in, your goods will take longer to reach you. This particularly applies to any seasonal colour or printed garments.  We will advise if this is the case and can supply an estimated time of arrival on request.
