Juzo Silon®-TEX is a medical silicone layer on a soft and supple textile base material used to assist the healing various active scar types. The Silon®-TEX is a custom made option and is sewn into custom made materials such as Juzo ScarComfort Fine, Juzo ScarComfort Pure and Juzo ScarComfort Silver compression garments -combining the scar therapy of both silicone and compression.

The textile fabric with medical silicone is soft, comfortable and adapts perfectly to the wearers anatomy, the silicone layer allows for a moist environment to develop on the scar (doesn't dry out) whilst remaining breathable for wearing comfort due to its semi-permeable membrane.

The Silon®-TEX can be customised onto Juzo ScarComfort compression garments according to preference and size and can be used practically anywhere on the body. In addition to the benefits of the silicone, therapeutic pressure in the form of compression counteracts the uncontrolled and excessive rebuilding of connective tissue and a better healed scar result. 

Juzo compression garments with Silon®-TEX must be cleaned daily in accordance with the care symbols on the sewn-in textile label.
